Yes! White’s Beach Estate allows you to BYO your favourite drinks. To ensure your event runs smoothly, you will need to engage a business with RSA-certified staff and a licence to serve alcohol. They can provide bar service, glassware, and handle setup and pack down for your event. Contact White’s Beach Beverage Manager for more details

No, Whites Beach does not have catering facilities or a designated prep area. Your caterers will need to be fully self-sufficient and bring all required equipment, including ovens, warmers, and serving items. We offer packages with our caterer Bay Fire Kitchen.

Marquees are not included in our hire fee, however we do support third party vendors. Maximum capacity must be confirmed in writing by White’s Beach Estate. Please note that marquees can only be installed on the flat area at the front of the venue and are booked at the couple’s own additional cost.

Access to the house is off-limits to external guest during the wedding to protect the property and minimise any risk of damage, ensuring your event runs smoothly and safely.

Confetti and similar materials are not permitted unless you have prior written approval from Whites Beach team. We’re happy to consider eco-friendly alternatives on request.

Yes, open-flame candles are permitted at Whites Beach. We just ask that they are safely contained in holders / hurricane glass or vessels. South Australia fire ban season enforces restrictions in our area. Please confirm this with out venue manager if you wish to have candles or a fire at any stage.

Yes, dogs are welcome to be part of your ceremony and can stay for post-ceremony photos before departing. Pets are not permitted inside White’s Beach accommodation. Registered service animals are welcome with prior approval and proof of certification.

Yes! Sparkler send-offs can be arranged with prior written approval. Sand buckets must be provided and cleaned up at the end of your event.

For safety and comfort, fireworks are not permitted at White’s Beach Estate Property, Streaky Bay.

You’re welcome to bring your own musician or hire external equipment, as a sound system and microphone are not provided onsite.

Yes! Our event manager will be onsite to assist with setup for 3 hours before your ceremony and will stay through the first hour of your reception to ensure everything runs seamlessly. anything additional will need to be arrange with our wedding planner.

You’ll be able to access the venue from your accommodation check-in time on the day of your arrival, giving you plenty of time to settle in and start your setup.

All events have their own cut off time - this is confirmed during the booking process, as specified in writing by White’s Beach manager.

Yes, all vendors and décor should be packed down by your check-out time so the venue is returned to its original condition.

Additional bins must be arranged in advance if required. Failure to remove waste will result in extra cleaning charges.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit secures your date and is retained in all circumstances.
Client Cancellations
If you cancel (including change of mind), the deposit is forfeited. Additional payments may be partially refunded depending on timing and costs already incurred, at the venue’s discretion. All cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Weather
As an outdoor-adjacent venue, weather may impact your event. If conditions are unsafe, we will work with you to postpone or adjust plans. The deposit remains non-refundable; additional payments may be partially refunded depending on committed costs.
Venue Cancellation
In exceptional circumstances, we may cancel and will offer an alternative date or refund payments made (excluding the deposit, unless required by law).
Costs & Timing
Late cancellations or postponements may incur costs for confirmed suppliers, staffing, and other non-recoverable expenses.
Insurance
Wedding insurance is strongly recommended to cover cancellations and unforeseen events. Our Venue has indemnity to cover you for your event up to 170 ppl. Anything additional must be arranged by client and confirmed in writing with White’s Beach Estate.
Disputes & Contact
All matters must be raised in writing. This policy forms part of your booking agreement with White’s Beach Estate.
